Hi Andy, I was on your buddypress site earlier and tried signing up as a new account. I was unable to do so. Would not take my password, and did not give me any clue to what I might have been doing wrong. Did turn off cookies and followed some prompts from google. Checking out the buddypress for my members to use for their profiles, and to apply to a wordpress website we are in process of working on.
